Crunch Time: How CPDC Can Help You Get Through the Last Few Weeks

As the semester winds down and the weather will soon be taking a turn for the better, it is easy to get caught up in all the hard work and the excitement that the end of the year brings. Do not forget that the Career and Professional Development Center is here to help you some of that work with our many resources!

Bison Boutique

Have a presentation or job interview coming up, but don’t have the proper attire? Come check out the Bison Boutique. We offer a variety of items for you to borrow at no cost to you, including:

  • Suit jackets
  • Dress pants and skirts
  • Dresses
  • Ties
  • Padfolios

Drop-In Hours

If you have a quick question about a company, your resume, an internship application, etc. you can stop in during our drop-in hours. You do not need an appointment to come in during these times you can just come in!

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:00am – 11:00am
  • Tuesday and Thursday: 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Interview Rooms

With technology making communication much easier these days, many times employers and graduate schools like to do interviews using Skype or other video programs. Luckily we offer space in our office just for that specific reason! We have two conference rooms equipped with what you would need for a digital or phone interview.

Resource Library

The office is also equipped with its own Resource Library. Here we have a plethora of books which can help you with anything from studying for the GRE exam, preparing for interview questions, among other things. We also offer motivational pieces as well such as Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg and Never Eat Alone by Keith Ferazzi.
