Engaged Alumni – Chad Weeks

Our next Engaged Alumni that we would like to bring into the spotlight is Chad Weeks. Chad graduated from Nichols College in 2015 with his Bachelor of Art in History. Chad then completed two Masters’ degrees at Nichols and graduated in 2017 with a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and a Master of Business Administration in Operations Management. Chad now works as a Senior Business Operations Analyst for Dell.

We spoke with Chad about how he stays involved on the Hill and Chad told us:

“The experiences I have gained by staying involved in the Nichols Community has been a great experience and very rewarding. I have maintained relationships within the Nichols community since graduating with my bachelor’s degree in 2015. I have attended alumni events such as the Sophomore Shout Out, which was a great way to speak with and give advice to students as they are progressing through their time at Nichols. I also like to attend the Bison’s football games, whether it is a regular season game or the Homecoming game, which then allows me to stay connected to alumni and players.”

We also asked Chad what he has gained personally, professionally, or otherwise from staying involved at Nichols to which he replied:

“Overall, I have gained experience and skills from being involved with my Alma matter. Specific skills would include improving my public speaking ability, if speaking at an event or to a large group of people. I have also improved my networking skills, which increase my professional career connections, and I have also gained friendships in which I will maintain for life from being involved in the community. Nichols College has in the past and continues to give me the skill set and confidence to take on any challenge I may face.”

Thank you Chad for taking the time to talk with us. We can’t wait to see you at future events!
