Our next Bison Spotlight is McKenna Gernander, a member of the Class of 2020, from Coleraine, Minnesota. McKenna is majoring in Finance, with a minor in International Business. She is working toward her MBA in the 4 + 1 Program here at Nichols and she will graduate in 2021. On The Hill, McKenna is captain of the Women’s Ice Hockey team and plays on the Women’s Lacrosse team. She is also an Admissions Ambassador, a Professional Development Seminar TA, a member of the Honors Program, and she has been an Orientation Leader. Outside of school and work, McKenna loves to kayak and attend her siblings’ sporting events. A fun fact about McKenna is she can speak fluent Spanish!
McKenna will soon be interning at Aetna, as a Finance Intern. Her best advice for others seeking internships: attend any job fairs or company visits offered on campus; you just may find a future internship or even a job!
