Bison Spotlight – Lauryn White

The next Bison Spotlight is focused on Lauryn White. She is a native of Orange, Massachusetts and a member of the Class of 2021. She is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Criminal Justice Management and a minor in Psychology. Lauryn tends to find herself very busy here on The Hill. She is a member of the Varsity Field Hockey team, Emerging Leaders Program, Law Club, Women’s Rugby Club Team, and has a work-study job in the Adult Undergraduate Office. When Lauryn finds the free time she enjoys spending it with friends and family. A fun fact is that she has traveled to Ireland.

This spring semester, Lauryn will be a Police Intern at the Webster Police Department. In this role, she will be entering training records data into their department computer software, assisting Court Officers with public records requests, shadowing Patrol Officers and becoming familiar with specialties. She will also be helping Detectives in the Detective Bureau with investigations as needed, as well as assisting in Evidence Collection and gathering information. During her internship, Lauryn is looking forward to shadowing the Police Officers.

The CPDC Team wants to thank Lauryn for taking the time to interview with us. We wish you the best of luck with your internship and cannot wait to hear all about it!
