On September 3rd, 2025, the CPDC hosted the 3rd Annual Dress for Success event, one of the most popular events of the year. Held in Fels from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, the event gave Nichols students the chance to “thrift” from a wide selection of donated professional attire for free.
From suits and shirts to ties, dresses, shoes, belts, and bags, there was something for everyone. With over 100 students attending, the event was filled with eager faces browsing through racks of business wear, picking out pieces to help them feel confident and prepared for internships, interviews, and beyond.
After the event, students were also invited to return and take anything they needed from what was left with no limits. Thanks to the generous donations from faculty, staff, alumni, and community members, there was still plenty to go around.
Whether students were preparing for an internship, a presentation, or a job interview, Dress for Success helped ease the financial burden and pressure of looking professional. Access to quality business attire at no cost gave more than 100 students the confidence to look their best while preparing for their careers.
The CPDC is always working on ways to support students beyond the classroom, so stay tuned for what’s next!
