Hello everyone, and welcome to the Hill. If, however, you are new to the Hill you may be wondering who this website is for and what the CPDC is. This blog post is your one stop shop on all the things you need to know about the Nichols College Career and Professional Development Center.
The Career and Professional Development is located in the Fels building second floor. Within the office there are a total of three pro staff members that are always willing to lend a hand to any and all students and alumni of Nichols College. They are able to assist in any forms of career and professional development, ranging from help building or fine tuning a resume, to helping students find both internship and job opportunities.
While at your time at Nichols, there will come a time that you need to wear business professional or business casual clothes. When this time comes, if any students need help getting clothes, the Bison Boutique will provide whatever business clothes students need for any and all reasons. From suit jackets and button-down shirts to padfolios and ties, the Boutique has the ability to fill any needs that students may have.
If you’re looking for a quiet place to take an interview the CPDC offers two private interview rooms for any conferences or meetings students may need to take.
Any and all CPDC needs can be done by the student workers who run the front desk. These work studies can assist in checking out items from the boutique or scheduling an appointment with one of the pro-staff members.
By simply visiting the CPDC office in Fels, students can get assistance in doing anything they need. The CPDC is available to help students with a number of college’s needs. The CPDC is here to guide students and to make the college experience easier and a smoother transition.
