Career Exploration Event: Managing the Herd

Registration required!  We have so many wonderful management-related concentrations here at Nichols. This event focuses on our human resource management, hospitality management, sport management, real estate management, nonprofit management, entrepreneurial management, and management majors. Come meet with table hosts and explore career paths related to these concentrations. Check out our exciting guest list (subject to change): Coming soon! *Registration opens at 7:00 a.m. on September 6th. *Business professional dress is encouraged. *This event is eligible for 3rd & 4th Year PDS credit and students must stay for the full time. How is this Going to Work? Video and microphones are required for this event for all participants. Once you sign in using the Zoom link provided at a later time, you will be routed to a waiting room. Once permitted, you will go to the main Zoom room as CPDC kicks off the event and introduces each table host at the start the event. You will then be routed to a breakout room. You will have the opportunity to speak with each table host for roughly 15 minutes each and you will be in a group of roughly ten fellow peers/participants. This is a great opportunity to hear about each table host’s professional background/experiences, ask questions, and make professional connections. After you speak to all table hosts, the CPDC team will then conclude the event and take attendance. Participants are required to stay the full time in order to receive credit as attendance is taken at the end of the event and students are encouraged to bring a minimum of three questions. Some of these guests may be hiring for interns and/or full-time roles for after graduation.
