Accurate credit and cash flow analysis to evaluate degree of creditworthiness for customers and prospective customers.
Maintains schedules and systems for requesting financial statements, periodic reporting and review.
Prepares and/or complies management reports relative to various credit administration responsibilities
Incumbent will spread, analyze and compare to peer group/industry standards the financial statements, business plans and other financial data provided to the Loan Officer for the commercial loan prospects and customers.
Conducts work-in-progress and inventory field audits as requested
Incumbent will be required to maintain certain departmental reports and develop a working knowledge of commercial loan documentation
incumbent will provide liaison services within the business and financial community for credit purposes
Participates in industry sponsored associations, seminars, and activities to further the Banks' understanding and presence in the market
Stays current with all lending laws, UCC, loan compliance and other applicable regulations
The ability to conduct financial analysis as it pertains to existing borrower, its related entities and its owners
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education equal to a 4-year college degree, preferably in the area of accounting or finance. Formal credit analysis training is preferred.
Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality
