Opportunity
Lead capital raising & business development efforts for Leste Group’s products with investors based in Mexico, with a focus on growing relationships with family offices, RIAs, funds of funds, endowments and corporate pensions. Oversee the development of the country’s capital raise plan and manage its execution, including all tactical requirements. Manage investor diligence, onboarding process and work with IR & Marketing team to ensure best-in-class quality of ongoing relationship management. Duties & Responsibilities:
▪Build, maintain and execute capital raise plan
▪ Prepare and maintain fund offering materials in Spanish when required, such as investor presentations, Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), etc.
▪ Respond to investor due diligence questions and other requests for information
▪ Conduct and maintain market research including on competitors
▪ Collate investor feedback and disseminate to the investment team
▪ Research and engage prospective investors as well as managing the Firm’s CRM database
▪ Managing the due diligence process by maintaining the Firm’s data room and preparing customized pitch materials as needed for prospective and existing clients
▪ Working with cross-functional team members from investments, finance, legal and compliance to mitigate gating items and ensure timely closings of LP capital commitments
▪ Assisting with the Annual Investor Meeting and other investor-focused presentations, conferences and events
Qualifications:
▪ Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in capital raising roles with demonstrable success in attracting capital from target investors in Mexico for alternative investments
▪ Minimum advanced degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CFA or other designations a plus
