Intern – Housing Operations & Administrative Support

About the Role
MCO Housing Services is seeking a detail-oriented intern to support affordable housing operations, including application processing, document management, compliance tracking, and marketing support. This role provides hands-on experience in housing program administration, data organization, and operational systems used in affordable housing development and lotteries.
Responsibilities
- Assist with applicant data entry and application tracking
- Organize and maintain digital compliance and application files
- Support review of applications for completeness and missing documentation
- Help prepare templated applicant communications and notices
- Assist with housing lottery and intake workflow tracking
- Support marketing tasks including flyers, listings, and email outreach
- Maintain organized digital filing systems and trackers
- Support internal process improvements and workflow documentation

Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organization

- Interest in housing, public administration, nonprofit work, or real estate preferred
Preferred (Not Required)
- Data entry or administrative experience
- Interest in marketing or communications
- Familiarity with spreadsheets or CRM systems
Hours & Schedule
Flexible, 10 – 15 hours per week
