The Business Development Representative will collaborate with senior sales executives to support the business development process. They will coordinate with a broader team to develop and implement outreach strategies targeting private market asset managers and investors. The primary focus will be on acquiring new private market clients for the fund secondaries technology products.
Supports the Senior Sales Executives in identifying key areas of opportunities in the market.
- Supports the Senior Sales Executives in closing deals in order to meet individual/team quotas and company business objectives.
- Work closely with the Nasdaq Asset Manager Sales Team collaborate with Sales Executives to identify key areas of opportunities across the asset management, investment consultant, and institutional investor spaces.
- Prospect potential clients through calls, emails and social channels. Schedule meetings and perform discoveries and demonstrations with sales partners when required
- Supports in closing deals to meet individual/team quotas and company business objectives
- Collaborate with the broader BDR team on cross-functional initiatives
- Manage workflows effectively through our CRM system
- Develops a good understanding of industries, regulatory environments and markets.
- Education Required: Bachelor’s degree
- Experience Required: At least 1 year
- Proactive, responsive team player who can thrive in a dynamic and changing environment
- Competitive and motivated self-starter who is results-driven
- Exceptional use of Microsoft Suite and ability to learn new platforms quickly Experience with Salesforce is a plus
- Investment industry experience a plus
- Series 7 and Series 63 not required but helpful
