2019 Nichols College Etiquette Dinner Recap

On Tuesday, November 5th, 2019 we had our biggest event of the fall semester, the Etiquette Dinner. Hosted by Enterprise Holdings, the event was held in Daniels Auditorium from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We had 80 student participants attend as well as 32 employers, faculty, and staff members. Each table had five students along with two table hosts, one from Nichols College and the other was an external guest.

The event is designed to offer students a hands-on opportunity to learn about professional dining etiquette.

One of our table hosts, Alba Kocibelli from Unum stated, “The dinner is a great way to get to know the Nichols students and I have found the students come prepared and are engaged. I enjoy sharing any insight as well as answering their questions to help them as they transition college seniors into career professionals.

We had several students leave positive feedback regarding the Etiquette Dinner event. A few that we received were:

I had so much fun just mingling with our table host and other students. I did learn a lot about what to do and say at a dinner table which will be big in the future. I really had a great time!”

“It was a great experience! I was able to make new connections and get to know more about fellow classmates.”

“Great food, great company, wonderful time, thank you!”

CPDC would like to thank our sponsor for this event, Enterprise Holdings! Thank you for your continuous support. We also greatly appreciate everyone who helped us put together this amazing event. We look forward to hosting it again next year!
