Bison Spotlight – Rebecca Siegel

The next Bison Spotlight focuses on a member of the Class of 2020, Rebecca Siegel. She is from Southborough, MA, and pursuing her degree in Hospitality Management. She was an Orientation Leader on The Hill during the summers of 2017 and 2018. Outside of school she enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing, hanging out with her friends, listening to new music, and buying new clothes and shoes. A fun fact about Rebecca is she went to space camp when she was younger!

Rebecca completed three internships with Mohegan Sun Casino Resort. Two of her internships were in the Events and Promotions Department, and the last one was with the Celebrity Events Producer. During her time in the Events and Promotions Department, she assisted and organized data, researched for upcoming events, and contributed to the tasks of event days. A typical day for Rebecca consisted of completing paperwork, researching, or working with contracts and itineraries. She then had lunch with the team. After lunch, she continued to work on more research and data entries.

Rebecca said, “My favorite thing during my internships with Mohegan Sun Casino Resort was the chance to work with celebrities.”

When we asked her if she had a key takeaway or advice for others she said, “Make sure you are always willing to attempt any task thrown your way. Always make sure you say thank you to everyone.”

Rebecca also said, “Without Nichols, I wouldn’t have received this internship opportunity. Thank you, Nichols!”

We are very proud of Rebecca and all her accomplishments at Mohegan Sun Casino Resort. The CPDC team would like to wish her the best of luck in her future career and thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us!
