Lily is a Junior Communications Major here at Nichols.  This summer, Lily was a Communications & Media Intern at TurboCam International. Turbocam is a manufacturer that specializes in core turbomachinery flow path components for aviation, rocketry, automotive turbocharger, and power generation. At the conclusion of the summer, Lily was asked to stay aboard as an Intern for the next school year!

Her responsibilities include: assisting with the preparation of trade shows and related efforts, assisting with photography, film/lighting support, and graphic creations, supporting social media efforts including idea generation, content creation, and social media monitoring, compiling, editing, and analyzing data and reports

She told us: “I love the wide variety of tasks that I do that not only let me apply what I’ve learned in the classroom to real-life projects, I also learn new skills that I can enhance in my courses.”

“I work with so many different people from the different departments across the company, that I learn something new with each interaction.”

Besides her internship Lily is very involved at Nichols. She is the Communications Chair for the Institute for Women’s Leadership, an Admissions Ambassador, President of the Nichols College Reel Deal Film Club, and a member of the Honors Program & the Emerging Leaders Program.
