Operations Assistant/Sales:
Advantage Global Logistics Corporation is looking to find someone who is motivated and eager to learn a career in the freight/logistics field.
Job description:
- Selecting carriers and negotiating contracts and rates
- Planning and monitoring domestic and international freight deliveries
- Supervising logistics, transportation, and customer services
- Responding to any issues or complaints
- Researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers
- Ensuring all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements
Experience:
- Must be computer literate
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office including:
- word, excel, outlook
- Must have very good communication skills
- phone and email
- We are willing to train you on Landstar Express software for booking, tracking and delivering of all freight(domestic/international)
- Must be willing to make sales calls
