Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated college intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the field of financial planning. The intern will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, learn about financial planning concepts, and contribute to various projects within the firm.
Potential Areas of Responsibility:
- Client Support: Assist in providing administrative support to financial planners, including scheduling client meetings, preparing meeting materials, and updating client records. When requested, sit in on client meetings.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research on financial products, investment options, and market trends. Analyze data and assist in the preparation of client recommendations and presentations.
- Data Entry: Input client information into CRM software and assist in organizing and maintaining client files. Assisting in inputting client information into financial planning software’s.
- Operational Support: Support day-to-day operations of the firm, including organizing files, scanning documents, and assisting with general office tasks.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with a major in finance, business, economics, or related field.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in financial planning or wealth management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges.
- Have compassion for people and the desire to succeed!
