Get a firsthand look at how small, medium, and large Marketing Service Providers (MSP) and Print Service Providers (PSP) work to meet the needs of their existing and future customers. As our Global Marketing intern, you will gain knowledge of the print industry as well as make a significant contribution to our goals and objectives. During your internship you will be exposed to various education and training sessions and interaction with customers.
Projects could include:
- Marketing support for AI/ML initiatives.
- Creation of sales and education materials for Ricoh products.
- Supporting and/or executing sales education and product updates.
At Ricoh, the Global Marketing intern role is responsible for learning how to understand market requirements and coordinate with members of a cross-functional team to develop a strategic marketing plan defining how Ricoh will launch a new product enhancement or service. To do this, the Global Marketing intern will engage is projects to create customer value by understanding the customer, the marketplace, Ricoh’s current production print inkjet portfolio, emerging technology developed by Ricoh R&D, and the competitive landscape. As an intern with the Global Marketing team, you’ll observe the value of becoming a product and market evangelist, and a go-to source for knowledge on the customer, the customer’s problems and use cases, and the likely decision-making criteria used when making a technology investment.

- Be part of a dynamic Global Marketing organization based in Boulder, Colorado that has business responsibility for high-end production inkjet printing technology, software & services, and supply chain management.
- Interface with extended team members all over the world including Europe, Latin America, Japan, Asia Pacific, and China.
- Learn directly from customers about their challenges they face running their business, and how you can help them. You’ll prioritize what you learn based on urgency, pervasiveness, and the customers willingness to pay.
- Engage the sales team to educate them about your project, and how you’ve solved their customers’ problems.
- Possible opportunities for travel to customer sites.
Dynamic learning opportunities:
- Team with senior members of global marketing, engineering, sales, and other interns to collaborate on bringing a new solution to the market.
- Work with the Business Development team to support the expansion of offerings for MSP and PSP customers in the North American market.
- At the conclusion of the project, you’ll share the results with other interns, your team, and Ricoh executive management.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with social media platforms for Marketing.
- Ability to work in remote, team-based environment.
- History using Microsoft Office 365 productivity and collaboration tools.
- Knowledge of Digital Marketing tools and techniques.
Education:
- Close to completing B.A. or B.S. degree in Business, Marketing or Communications.
- Prefer student currently pursuing an MBA or M.S. in Marketing or related program.
- Student must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Students are to successfully complete all required screenings prior to hire
